The Bridge House, Beaminster offers a choice of eating experiences from fine dining in the elegant Georgian restaurant through to al fresco eating in the beautiful walled garden. Two conservatories offer further areas perfect for large or small parties.

Dishes are traditionally English - but with a difference - from a homemade chunky seafood soup through to local lamb cooked in real ale and hay and garden lavender creme brulee! Homemade Dorset apple cake and cream teas are served all day. All fish, meat and vegetables are local and organic where appropriate. Drinks range from locally produced Netherbury cider through to fine wines.

Recently featured in the BBC's Food Food magazine, the hotel and restaurant are privately run and not part of a chain. Owners Mark & Joanna Donovan have turned a once stuffy environment into a clean, crisp yet relaxed and welcoming home from home where nothing is too much trouble.
